This is a two day workshop based at The Trên Station, a private Outdoor Gym at the Goodsheds in Barry, Vale of Glamorgan (www.brawdhealth.com/the-tren-station).
Delivered by Anturio Adventure this comprehensive workshop is suitable for recreational SUP paddlers who want to improve their fitness both on land and on the water.
This will be a comprehensive and integrated experience looking at your own individual Sup Fitness and Paddle efficiency both on and off the water.
At our bespoke private outdoor training environment we explore and personalise the following 8 pillars of SUP Fitness for the individual:
Pillar 1 - Physical Conditioning.
Pillar 2 - Aerobic & Cardiovascular conditioning.
Pillar 3 - Flexibility, warming up and stretching.
Pillar 4 - SUP Skills and drills.
Pillar 5 - Rest and recovery.
Pillar 6 - Injury management and prevention.
Pillar 7 - Body composition & nutrition.
Pillar 8 - Psychological benefits.
On the Water we focus on paddle efficiency, drills and sup specific water fitness relating this to our 8 pillar framework and your own fitness and performance on the water.
By the end of the workshop you will be able to build yourself an individual Sup fitness framework to work within for improving your future paddling.
