This two day course will introduce the novice instructor to teaching and communication skills, lesson planning, feedback and analysis skills and group and individual client management. This is a two day training course based at Bartley SUP.
The course contains both theory and practical and we aim to spend as much time on the water as possible.
Before your course you will need to have attended the WSA SUP safety and rescue course, which we are running the day prior to this course at the same venue.
To join the course you'll need to first register for WSA coach membership. The cost is £60 and includes a water license and full insurance.
Please bring your own SUP equipment if you have it. If not, we can provide a range of boards and kit to try, please get in touch if you need to borrow kit.
There is free parking on site but there is no shop so please bring lunch and snacks with you for the day.
We have changing room, with toilets and hot showers, as well as secure storage for valuables.
We're looking forward to meeting you! Do get in touch if you have any questions.
