Award Description
This is the first step to working as a Stand Up Paddle instructor. This two day course will introduce the novice instructor to teaching and communication skills, lesson planning, feedback and analysis skills and group and individual client management. We expect our candidates to be able to confidently perform the manoeuvres listed below before enrolling on the course. If you are not sure if you are at standard then please contact us to discuss.

This course allows a practical and theoretical development of SUP coaching on and off the water. The course will introduce a novice instructor to training and commincation skills, lesson planning, feedback and analysis skills, alongside group and individual client management.

KIT
For the course, please bring your own board, paddle, leash, bouyancy aid and any safety kit you use. If you do not have your own board, please let me know.
There is a corner shop near by but a packed lunch is best.
